Brushed dress fabric (in English brushed French Terry) is a stretchy and skin-friendly fabric, where the reverse side is specially treated by brushing. This gives the fabric a softer, warmer, and slightly thicker feel compared to regular French Terry. The brushed fibers create a pleasant fleece-like inner surface, making it ideal for cooler weather.

Thanks to its warmth retention and comfort, brushed dress fabric is widely used in hoodies, joggers, children’s and baby clothing, sportswear, and loungewear. The inclusion of elastane ensures good stretchability and shape retention.
