SCHMETZ Super Stretch needle, thanks to its special flat-shank shape, sits closer to the hook, making it easier to pick up the thread loop and helping to prevent skipped stitches, even with very elastic fabrics.
The needle’s special blade shape ensures a lower risk of breakage and especially straight seams. Thanks to the larger eye and wider thread groove, the Super Stretch needle is also suitable for use with thicker sewing threads – this reduces thread tension and prevents thread breakage.
The medium ball point is suitable for all jersey fabrics because it gently pushes the loops aside without damaging the fabric. The needle is easy to recognize thanks to the white color ring at the top of the needle.
Super Stretch needles can be used in all household sewing machines that use the 130/705 H needle system, and in some overlock machines (see the machine manual for more information).
Due to its properties, this needle is an excellent alternative to a regular Stretch needle, especially if you sew with thicker or stronger threads.
