ELx705 SUK CF needles are specially designed for overlock and coverstitch machines.
Unlike standard sewing machine needles, they have a secondary thread groove on the back of the needle, which helps form chain stitches even when sewing with low thread tension. The chrome-plated (CF) surface finish extends the needle’s service life, and the reinforced blade reduces needle bending at high speed.
These needles have a ball point (SUK), making them especially suitable for sewing jersey fabrics, including cotton, merino wool and synthetic jersey, as well as jersey and interlock fabrics. The rounded tip slips between the fibres rather than piercing them, thereby reducing fabric damage.
Suitable for needle systems ELx705 CF, ELx705, ELx705 CR and SY 2022, which are used in most overlock and coverstitch machine models.
