Prym’s washable iron-on pattern pencil is a suitable marking tool primarily for transferring embroidery designs onto natural textiles such as cotton and linen. The twistable red refill is first used to transfer embroidery patterns and motifs onto transparent paper. To ensure the motif remains correctly oriented, the pattern is then clearly traced again on the back of the transparent paper using the iron-on pattern pencil.

Finally, the embroidery pattern can be ironed onto the fabric with light pressure, using an iron set to at least setting 2. After embroidering, the pattern can be easily washed out.
This iron-on pattern pencil is not suitable for synthetic fabrics, blended fabrics, or silk.

Important: before using the marking pencil, make a test mark on a fabric scrap and check how the mark can be removed.
