- Needle for threading elastic and cords
- With rounded tips
- Made from hardened steel and brass-plated
- Flexible and durable at the same time
These bodkin-type needles, made of hardened steel and finished with brass, are ideal for pulling elastic and cords through a waistband casing, hood channels, etc.
The brass version is a needle that is split at the base of the shaft and opened up to the eye, which makes the tip of the needle rounded. If you slide the tape through this “loop” and then press it between the needle shafts, the tape will be held firmly in place and can be conveniently pulled through the casing.
The other needle, a stainless-steel bodkin, also has a blunt tip. It has a wide, flat and thinner needle shaft with a long, round eye. The long eye is suitable for ribbons and thicker yarns, the round eye for finer yarns and O-rings.
