Did you know that the Ainoa peaked cap is Kaavastudio Ainoa’s first published sewing pattern?

This pattern includes pieces and instructions to make the cute Ainoa peaked cap. The pattern has versions for both stretch (B) and non-stretch (A) caps.

To make the cap you need

• Model A (non-stretch):
• approx. 30 cm waterproof, non-stretch outer fabric for the outer shell
• approx. 30 cm teddy fabric or cotton fleece for lining
• Model B (stretch):
• approx. 30 cm sturdy stretch sweatshirt fabric or similar for the outer shell
• approx. 30 cm strong cotton-elastane knit or similar for lining

In addition for both models:

• approx. 14 cm ribbing fabric
• approx. 50 cm 1 cm wide tie tape
• approx. 10 cm strong wadding or interfacing fabric
