Brushed dress fabric (in English brushed French Terry) is a stretchy and skin-friendly fabric whose reverse side is specially treated by brushing. This gives the fabric a softer, warmer, and slightly thicker feel compared to regular loopback French Terry. The brushed fibers create a pleasant fleece-like inner surface, which is ideal for cooler weather.

Thanks to its warmth retention and comfort, brushed dress fabric is widely used for making hoodies, tracksuits, children’s and baby clothes, sportswear, and home wear. The elastane content ensures good stretchability and shape retention.
