French Terry (also known as looped French Terry) is a soft and slightly stretchy fabric with small loops on the reverse side. This makes the fabric breathable, skin-friendly, and somewhat thinner than classic thicker French Terry. The addition of elastane provides better stretch and shape retention, making it ideal for creating everyday and comfortable garments.
French Terry is perfect for sewing hoodies, sweatpants, dresses, children’s and baby clothes, sportswear, and other soft and stretchy garments.
