Brushed French Terry – a soft and warm apparel fabric

Brushed French Terry (in English also called Sweat) is a stretchy and skin-friendly fabric whose wrong side is specially treated by brushing. This gives the fabric a softer, warmer and slightly thicker feel compared to regular loopback French terry. The brushed fibres create a pleasant fleece-like inner surface that is perfect for cooler weather.

Thanks to its warmth and comfort, brushed French Terry is widely used for making hoodies, sweatpants and tracksuits, children’s and baby clothes, sportswear and loungewear. The elastane content ensures good stretch and shape retention.
